COVID-19: What we expect from you
5th January 2021Patients with COVID-19 symptoms (or have a household member who has been self-isolating) should not request an appointment or attend our clinic.Specifically, do not attend or request an appointment if:
- You or anyone in your household has coronavirus
- You have new or continuous cough
- You have high temperature (37.8 C or over)
- If anyone in your household has a new, continuous cough or high temperature
- You have in the last 7 days lost your sense of smell or taste
Please note that you will be asked these questions before booking your appointment and again on arrival at your scheduled appointment to ensure that your situation has not changed.
- Only attend if you have a pre-arranged appointment
- Our front door is locked. Please ring the doorbell (placed low on Right hand side of door frame) and wait for a member of the team who will provide you with entry if you have an appointment
- Please use our hand sanitizer on entry and wait in marked area
- You will then be directed (from a safe distance) to your designated clinic room and made aware of any protocols that we have in place
- You will be asked to use appropriate PPE
- We ask that you do not face towards a member of the team unless you and/or they are behind a protective screen
- You/we will maintain a safe distance of 2 meters unless instructed by a member of the team or clinician who will ensure that you/they are adequately protected
- As only 1 patient is allowed in clinic at any one time and there is high demand for appointments, we ask please that you are punctual and appointments will run to time to allow for sterilization and preparation for the next patient
- There will be clearly marked areas to ensure safe distances are maintained
- There will be protective screens strategically placed for safe face to face encounters (discussions, booking appointments and payment ALTHOUGH this can also be done remotely pre/post appointment if needed)
- We regret that we cannot offer our normal hospitality, teas or coffee in our sitting room and we currently have no waiting facility in clinic, but we can provide you with sealed bottles of water (sterile wipes available). Please take bottles away with you.
- We ask that you travel by car or avoid peak travel times if using public transport
- Please travel light, we will not be able to keep, handle or store any of your personal items
- Attend alone unless necessary and then the person attending with you must be from the same household.
- Your companion will only be allowed into the appointment if it is considered safe for them to do so and they will also be asked to use PPE when necessary
- Please follow all guidance and instruction when on the premises and under our care.
- As we have no waiting facility, please arrive on time. If you do arrive early, then please wait in your car or off the premises and call us if you need to on 020 7935 5511
