Robust & versatile titanium shell
Virto B-Titanium is custom-made to fit perfectly in your ear. It’s made from medical grade titanium which makes it incredibly strong, light and durable. The Virto™ B-Titanium is fifteen times stronger than acrylic, allowing the shell to be as thin as 0.2mm - as thin as a piece of paper. This makes the Virto™ B-Titanium shell 50% thinner than any other Phonak custom made hearing device, without compromising on speech intelligibility. Titanium is strong and light-weight which is why it is used on so many other premium products, from medical to high-performance vehicles and sporting goods. Phonak have utilised this versatile medical grade material to produce the smallest custom device it has ever produced.

Thanks to the titanium shell, the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium is 26% smaller in size than its predecessor and it's electronic components are 60% smaller, meaning it can achieve a 64% improvement in IIC (invisible in the canal) fitting suitability. Additional space makes it possible to use significantly more powerful processing technology making it possible to cater for more severe hearing losses without the need to increase the size of the hearing aid.The smaller size also allows for the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium to fit people with smaller ear canals, even more so than other discreet daily wear hearing aids.
Improved sound quality with AutoSense OS
The Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium comes with the latest operating system, AutoSense OS which features the adaptive SoundRecover2. This advanced software analyses sounds every 0.4 seconds and utilises over 200 distinct settings to precisely match sound environments. Autosense OS is designed to automatically and seamlessly adjust to your soundscape, identify if you are in a noisy room, car, music venue or at home and adapting accordingly.

Who is the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium suitable for?They have been designed to cater for a wider range of individual audiological needs and has the potential to fit in smaller ear canals that may not have been suitable for IIC hearing aid styles in the past. However, suitability is unique to each person, so you should consult with our Audiologist to explore your suitability and its appropriateness for you.
Are the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium hearing aids really invisible?The Virto™ B-Titanium sits deep in the ear canal and mostly within permanent shadow, making them very difficult to see. However, for those with smaller ear canals and restricted space, they may be slightly visible. However, we would do our best to ensure the most discreetest fit possible for your ear.
Can I wear the Phonal Virto™ B-Titanium in the shower or whilst swimming?Whilst the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium is very robust, electronic components should not be exposed to too much moisture, so should be removed before showering or swimming.
Can I wear the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium whilst sleeping?This hearing aid is a daily wear solution, meaning they should be removed before sleeping and inserted again in the morning when you wake up.
Can I use the phone or earphones whilst wearing the Phonak Virto™ B-Titanium?Yes - the hearing aids are worn deep in the ear canal so shouldn't restrict your use of earphones, headphones or speaking on the phone.
