Invitation to take part in a study with Dr Saima Rajasingam and fellow UCL researchers at Cubex

Computer-based speech-in-noise training for hearing aid usersWe are looking for people to participate in a study with researchers at University College London at Cubex.[divider]The Aim[/divider]The aim of this project carried out in collaboration with researchers at UCL is to investigate the extent to which computer-based training can improve understanding of speech in noise for hearing aid users.[divider]Where is the study carried out?[/divider]The speech in noise training will be carried out at home using your own computer and will also involve four visits to Cubex for cognitive and speech in noise tests.[divider]How do I benefit?[/divider]The information we get is expected to help the development of training tools and materials that will prove beneficial to at least some hearing aid users. However, we cannot promise that the study will help any particular individual participant. If you are a candidate for the study, your current hearing technology will be given thorough checks and service in order for it to be functioning effectively for the study.[divider]How do I register my interest?[/divider]If you are a hearing aid wearer and are interested in participating in this research project, please do get in touch for further information.
