Researchers have also found that a large serving of blueberry in the morning can boost concentration and memory up to five hours later. This super brain food also protects the brain from oxidative stress and reduces the effects of age related brain diseases.

Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
375 g (13.2 oz) frozen blueberries
1 banana
3 dl (10.5 fl oz, 1 1⁄₃ CUP) apple juice
2 tbsp brown sugar
Serves 4
Method:
Blend blueberries, banana and apple juice, and sweeten with
brown sugar to taste. Serve cold in glasses.
