BRINOS - Help us achieve better hearing health in Nepal

Since 2001, Cubex has worked with the Britain Nepal Otology Service (BRINOS) to help thousands of Nepali’s achieve better ear and hearing health and life quality.  Charitable donations fund the vital manpower and equipment needed to sustain the Primary Ear Care and Hearing Care Programme in Nepal. In addition, funding is required in order to purchase and maintain the specialised equipment needed to undertake middle ear microsurgery. The recent main BRINOS funding drive has been to build the new Ear Care Centre at Nepalgunj which was finished and operational since October 2015.  In March this year, the first BRINOS camp was held - with 184 operations in 11 days drawing patients from 21 of the 25 districts of the two western regions of Nepal! A big thank you to all supporters who helped to make this possible. However, the work doesn’t stop there - we want to help to reach out beyond the 4 districts currently served by BRINOS and the Hearing Care Programme. This means being able to train more Community Ear Assistants and establish them in more districts.

Recently, a very kind sponsor donated £6,000 on the condition that this is matched by a further £6,000. For Christmas 2016, we are excited to announce the The BRINOS XMAS GIVE (open until 14th December). If you would like to help us reach this goal by 14th December please visit 'Funding' on the BRINOS website: www.BRINOS.org.uk  for a gift aid form and the Virgin Giving page, indicating BRINOS XMAS GIVE.  Alternatively, cheques can be sent directly to: Cubex, 25 New Cavendish Street, London, W1G 8LP.
